While it utilizes the same floorplan as its sister schools (Wea Ridge and Woodland Elementary), Wyandotte Elementary School is different in one significant way...the environmentally friendly facility is certified LEED Silver by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

This 86,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is organized around a central core of shared academic spaces accented with a sunlit rotunda. Flanking classroom wings house 21 classrooms and two Kindergarten areas. The class-room wings feature a distinctive “double corridor” design that provides easy access to support facilities; reduces congestion and noise from students moving through the building; and maximizes exterior wall space for classroom use.
