The Roger B. Gatewood Wing of Mechanical Engineering has the distinc­tion of being Purdue University’s first LEED certified facility (certified LEED Gold by the United States Green Building Council). This collection of flexible classroom space, student commons, computer labs, student learning laboratories, research laboratories and faculty offices and conference spaces adds 41,000 assignable square feet to the existing Mechanical Engineering Building.
